Our Climate Responsibility
Tolerate conducts annual climate reports to measure, understand and reduce our climate impact. These reports are a key tool in our sustainability efforts and are used to monitor progress over time, identify significant sources of emissions and prioritize actions that create meaningful impact.
The climate calculations are based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) and include emissions from Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 categories. The climate reports are prepared in collaboration with an external partner and are quality assured to ensure transparency, traceability and comparability between reporting years.
By monitoring our climate impact annually, we create better conditions for making long-term decisions that contribute to reducing emissions throughout our value chain.

Development Over Time 2022–2025
Since 2022, Tolerate has worked systematically to map and analyze its climate impact. The climate reports show a clear positive trend, with total emissions decreasing steadily between 2022 and 2025.
The largest share of Tolerate’s climate impact is found within Scope 3, which includes emissions throughout the value chain, such as purchasing and transportation. The main sources of emissions are purchased goods and services, as well as upstream transportation.
The reduction over time is primarily driven by changes in the product mix, increased use of recycled materials and continuous efforts to reduce the company’s climate impact. The climate reports are actively used to monitor progress and prioritize actions that deliver the greatest climate benefits.

Tolerate’s climate reports are based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) and are prepared using the operational control approach, meaning that emissions are fully reported for the parts of the business over which Tolerate has operational control.
Climate Report 2025
The 2025 Climate Report shows a significant reduction in Tolerate’s overall climate impact compared to the previous year.
Key figures and highlights for 2025:
Total climate impact amounted to approximately 222 tonnes of CO₂e.
Scope 3 accounted for approximately 99.7% of total emissions.
The largest sources of emissions were upstream transportation, purchased goods and services, and business travel.
Compared to 2024, total emissions decreased by approximately 45%.
Climate impact per product sold decreased by approximately 45% compared to the previous year.
The 2025 results demonstrate continued positive progress, with a higher share of recycled materials and reduced sales of electronics contributing to lower emissions. At the same time, the report shows that transportation remains an important focus area in Tolerate’s climate efforts.
Climate Report 2024
The 2024 Climate Report shows a continued reduction in Tolerate’s overall climate impact compared to previous years.
Key figures and highlights for 2024:
Total climate impact amounted to approximately 404 tonnes of CO₂e.
Scope 3 accounted for approximately 99% of total emissions.
The largest sources of emissions were purchased goods and services, as well as upstream transportation.
Compared to 2023, total emissions decreased further.
Climate impact per product sold decreased despite changes in the product mix and usage patterns.
The 2024 results demonstrate that implemented measures are delivering results and provide an important foundation for Tolerate’s continued efforts to reduce its climate impact.
Climate Report 2023
The 2023 Climate Report marks an important step in Tolerate’s climate journey and shows a significant reduction in emissions compared to the baseline year.
Key figures and highlights for 2023:
Total climate impact amounted to approximately 534 tonnes of CO₂e.
Scope 3 accounted for approximately 99% of total emissions.
The largest sources of emissions were purchased goods and services, upstream transportation, and business travel.
Compared to 2022, total emissions decreased by approximately 24%.
Climate impact per product sold decreased by approximately 18% compared to the previous year.
The reduction in 2023 was primarily driven by lower emissions from purchased goods and services, while emissions from business travel increased compared to 2022.
Climate Report 2022
The year 2022 marks Tolerate’s first comprehensive climate report. It serves as the baseline year for comparisons and progress tracking over time.
Key figures and highlights for 2022:
Total climate impact amounted to approximately 700 tonnes of CO₂e.
Emissions were predominantly generated within Scope 3.
The largest sources of emissions were purchased goods and services, as well as transportation.
Climate impact per product sold is used as a reference metric for monitoring future improvements.
